Medium of Instruction:
Medium of instruction is English. Hindi is compulsory upto Std VIII. Malayalam or Sanskrit will be third language from Std. II to Std. VIII. Malayalam, Hindi or Sanskrit can be opted as second language from Std.IX.
School Working Hours:
Std. I to V: 8.30 a.m to 2.10 p.m
Std. VI to XII: 8.30 a.m to 3.35 p.m
Lunch Break: 12.15 p.m to 12.45 p.m
Conveyance:
School buses are available for conveying the students to and from various important points within the city. How ever this facility cannot be claimed by any student as a matter of right. The management reserves the option to permit or deny school conveyance to any student and the managements decision shall be final. Those who wish to avail the transportation facility should pay the fees of Rs.250/- per month or in 3 installments i.e., June, September & December as follows:
June 2001 to August 2001 3 months Rs. 750/-
Sept 2001 to Nov 2001 3 months Rs. 750/-
Dec 2001 to Mar 2002 4 months Rs. 1000/-
Attendance:
No student who has less than 75% attendance to his/her credit in a particular academic year shall be considered for promotion. Unauthorized absence for a period of 15 days will result in the removal of the pupil's name from the rolls without any intimation to the parent. Long absence may be condoned at the discretion of the school committee.
School Assembly:
The morning session begins with the assembly which all the students and staff members are expected to join. After the prayer, pledge taking and short speeches by the students or members of the staff, regular classes for the day will start. During the school assembly students have to observe proper decorum and solemnity befitting the ocassion.
Tests & Examinations:
The following tests and examinations will be held in the academic year.
Unit Tests: - 2 Nos.
Terminal Examinations: - 3 Nos.
Resource Room & School Counselor:
For children identified with learning disorder, a resource room with trained staff is function in the school. The school has a trained counselor.
Co-Curricular Activities:
Adequate emphasis has been given to non scholastic activities as envisaged in our National Educational policy so that the children are offered enough oppurtunities to pursue their aptitude, develop their creative talents and thus evolve a wholesome personality. The are classified as:

Library:
We have a very good library consisting of titles in all subjects as also for general reading to inculcate reading ahbit in students. English and Malayalam dailies and good magazines are also provided. Library books must be handled with care. Any damage will result in recovering half the cost of the book. A fine of Rs. 2/- per week will be levied if the books are not returned in due date.
